The tiger was the largest species in the family Felidae.[1] Native to much of eastern and southern Asia, they were characterised by their bright orange, black-striped coats and white underbellies.[1]
An image of a tiger's face was featured on the cover of How to Tame Tigers.[2] This book was available for sale at Flourish and Blotts in 1992.[2]
