Thurkell is the surname of a wizarding family. However, Thaddeus Thurkell had seven sons who all turned out to be Squibs; he transfigured them all into hedgehogs out of disgust. It is unknown if they were ever untransfigured, but if they were, their descendants are likely either Muggles or Muggle-borns.
