Added by Seth CooperThe Thurkell brothers (b. 1650 or later[1]) were the seven sons of Thaddeus Thurkell. They all turned out to be Squibs. This made their father so angry that he transfigured them into hedgehogs.
It is rare for a single Squib to be born into a wizarding family. The fact that all seven of the Thurkell brothers were non-magical seems to indicate that there was something out of the ordinary about their case.

- ↑ The wizard card of their father, Thaddeus Thurkell, shows that he was born in 1632; no indication is made of him being underage, so he had to be at least 18 - given time to account for finishing Hogwarts, a marriage and/or a 9 month pregnancy - when his wife or girlfriend had his first child; this means that 1650 is the earliest any of them can be born.
