The Thundelarra Thunderers are a Quidditch team from Australia. Along with the Woollongong Warriors, they have dominated the Australian Quidditch League for the best part of the century. Their rivalry with the Warriors is fierce and legendary among the Australian magical community. A likely response to an unlikely claim or boast is "Yeah, and I think I'll volunteer to ref the next Thunderer-Warrior game". Milie Gunabie used to play for them in an unknown position.
Behind the scenes
- Thundelarra is a town in Western Australia, situated about three-hundred miles north of Perth. It is a small station between Paynes Find and Yalgoo in the Murchison region. Its population is less than 5.[1]
- In Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup, while providing match commentary, Millie Gudabi mentions to Ludo Bagman that she used to play for the Thundelarra Thunderers.
