Mrs. Nott was the mother of Theodore Nott and the wife of Mr. Nott. She died sometime after her son's birth (c. 1980), leaving Mr. Nott, an eldery man, to raise Theodore on his own.[1] Theodore's ability to see Thestrals may have originated in witnessing her death.
Mrs. Nott was born a pure-blood witch although her maiden name is unknown.[1] Mr. Nott joined Lord Voldemort around 1955, but Mrs. Nott was still young enough to have a child 25 years later, suggesting that there may have been a significant age difference between the two.
