The Paddock^[1] was an enclosure located on the edge of the Forbidden Forest, approximately a five minute walk from Rubeus Hagrid's cabin. The Hogwarts Hippogriff herd is apparently kept in this paddock, at least at times. Rubeus Hagrid brought his third year Care of Magical Creatures class to this paddock to teach them about Hippogriffs in 1993, though the lesson ended with Draco Malfoy attacked by Buckbeak.
