The Dream Oracle is a leather-bound book written on the subject of Divination by Inigo Imago. It was one of the required textbooks for Professor Trelawney's fifth year classes, although students were not required to purchase copies of it themselves. One of the subjects covered in the book is dream interpretation. This was covered in the introduction of the book. This introduction was possibly somewhat lengthy - by the time Harry Potter and his classmates had finished reading it, they only had about ten minutes left in the period to put what they had read into practice.[1]
