Tesshō Genda (born Mitsuo Yokoi) is a Japanese voice actor who protrayed the dub voice of Rubeus Hagrid in the video game adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. In addition, he has also voiced a variety of other characters in various media, and is one of the most prolific voice actors in Japan, having voiced over 200 different characters in his career. Some of his notable non-Harry Potter roles include the Japanese voices of Optimus Prime in the original Transformers animated series and the 2007 film, Batman in most animated series in Japan, and Tigger in both Winnie the Pooh and Kingdom Hearts.[1]
