They weren't Latin gods but Roman and were the sons of the god of war. Only Romulus became a good as he killed Remus in a dispute over who should rule. - Reason why I put this down for consideration is how aside from the COS, GOF, and DH is that even though Harry played in Quidditch matches that season he only played in the Quidditch final in POA, which ironically is also the only time he helped Gyriffindor win the Quidditch Cup, both of which I generally remind myself of since I noticed this fact after reading that book and figuring it out when comparing it to the other books.
