Tarquin McTavish (b. 1955) was a wizard, who was imprisoned for trapping his Muggle neighbour in a teakettle.
Behind the scenes
- If he attended Hogwarts, he may have been in the same year as Narcissa Malfoy, and five years above the Marauders.
- McTavish might have been imprisoned in Azkaban or Nurmengard. However, he could have been in another prison.
Etymology
The name "Tarquin" is from the Roman name Tarquinius, which is of unknown meaning, possibly Etruscan in origin. This was the name of two early kings of Rome.
