A 12th century tapestry of a group of wizards setting out to catch a Snidget is part of an exhibit at the Museum of Quidditch in London, England. The tapestry is of historical significance, as it shows the growing popularity of Snidget-hunting from the early 1100s.[1]

DescriptionEdit

The tapestry is divided in to two portions. On the first portion there are hunters carrying nets, others using wands, and still others attempting to catch the Golden Snidget with their bare hands. Also on this section, it is shown that the Snidget was often crushed in the process of being captured. The final portion of the tapestry shows the wizard who caught the Snidget being offered a bag of gold.[1]
