"Uncle of Ron's"

How can an "uncle of Ron's" be Arthur's nephew?

Maybe it's different in the Wizarding Worlld, but any nephew I have is my son's cousinWonka2011 13:47, September 30, 2011 (UTC)

The subject of this article isn't supposed to be the uncle mentioned in the novel's text, but the son he mistakes "Barny" (i.e. Harry) for, who would be Arthur Weasley's nephew. Starstuff (Owl me!) 21:55, October 5, 2011 (UTC)

Does this person even exist?

As stated by the page "Weasley children's cousin" the man, who mistakes Harry for his son, is drunk, so may not even have a son at all. Do we know if he does actually have a son? HarryPotterRules1 00:40, October 7, 2011 (UTC)

I was wondering the same thing: does the son actually exist, or is the uncle really so drunk he that can't remember whether or not he has any children? Starstuff (Owl me!) 23:26, October 5, 2011 (UTC)
