I have the source for the incantation, but it won't post right for some reason. the soure is:

I have tried to access that link multiple times only to be told (even after signing up and becoming a member, solely for the purpose of verification) that I do not have permission. Unless you or someone else can veriy this link (a screenshot would be super) then I'm reverting the edit—Green Zubat (owl me!). 14:29, August 28, 2011 (UTC)

A live version of the article from the SnitchSeeker.com InsaneJournal feed is here. Starstuff (Owl me!) 21:16, August 28, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks a bunch, that really helps :)

Pottermore

This is called the Tongue-Tying Spell on Pottermore, and the description of its effect is "ties tongue in knot." Starstuff (Owl me!) 09:14, August 27, 2011 (UTC)

I don't it could be counted as the same thing because of that, after all, the spell name and description don't sound the same as previous descriptions, sounds more like Mimblewimble. Could you give us the whole description of the Tongue-tying Spell verbatim so we can decide which? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Green Zubat (talkcontribs) 14:41, August 28, 2011.
So I've encountered a disparity on Pottermore: the spell menu calls it the "Tongue-Tying Spell," but when you go to practice the very same spell, it's name is given as the "Tongue-Tying Curse." Thus I'm left to conclude that the "Tongue-Tying Spell" is simply an alternate name for the Tongue-Tying Curse.
Also the incantation that appears on practice screen is Mimble wimble, so the Mimblewimble article should be merged here. Starstuff (Owl me!) 20:55, August 28, 2011 (UTC)
On Pottermore, this spell is listed as the "Tongue-Tying Spell" in the spells menu, but when you click the practice button it says "Tongue-Tying Curse" on the practice screen. Logically, if I hit the practice button for the "Tongue-Tying Spell," that's the spell I'm going to be practicing. The fact that it says "Curse" instead of "Spell" on the practice screen is evidence of an error/oversight on the part of the site's creators, not evidence that we're dealing with two separate spells.
In Deathly Hallows, Chapter 6, Arthur Weasley tells Harry, "Well, Mad-Eye set up a couple of curses against Snape in case he turns up there again. We hope they'll be strong enough both to keep him out and bind his tongue if he tries to talk about the place...". One of these was the Tongue-Tying Curse, as revealed in Chapter 9, and another was presumably the dust-Dumbledore enchantment. I always presumed that the former was put in place so that Snape wouldn't have a chance to dispel or fend off the latter (Moody presumably being unaware of Snape's talent for non-verbal magic). The "binding his tongue so he can't talk about the place" would've already been covered by the Fidelius Charm.
The point is that I don't think we should leap to the conclusion that the Tongue-Tying Curse and Tongue-Tying Spell are two different spells based on 1) an error/oversight on Pottermore, and 2) the fact that the effect given on Pottermore is different from the effect given in DH. I think we should just cover both effects in the article and leave speculation for the "Behind the scenes" section. Starstuff (Owl me!) 22:48, August 28, 2011 (UTC)

Fine, as I said on your talk page, I concede. They shall be merged—Green Zubat (owl me!). 23:34, August 28, 2011 (UTC)
