We need more information on Tom ! - Alex Scamander (as I wish my username was...)

In Prisoner of Azkaban, is the bald hunchback supposed to be Tom? In the book, Tom follows what this hunchback character does in the film. Mafalda Hopkirk 05:03, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes it is supposed to be Tom. Me_Potter_Fan 05:09, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Oh no! The movies got something wrong ?! Shock and horror ! (Sarcasm is the highest form of wit.) Lysander Scamander 17:05, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Well then the picture we have isn't Tom... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kudos 2 U (talkcontribs) 00:44, 20 February 2009 (UTC).

It didn't say anywhere that Tom died. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talkcontribs).

It also technically isn't stated anywhere that he retired, but JKR said in an interview that Hannah was landlady of the place in 2017, so one of the two must have happened (past away or retired) --BachLynnGryffindorcrest(Accio!) 14:02, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

well than shouldn't we remove the thing under his name that says he died? Alumeng 20:05, October 7, 2011 (UTC)

Pottermore calls him "Tom the Barman", capitalised like so. I know titles aren't to be used in names, but is "the Barman" really a title? --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 16:38, May 12, 2013 (UTC)
