Protection[]

I´m not sure if most forms of protection worn by players during matches can be considered canon. In the books, they players are described wearing cloaks, but no protective wear is mentioned. The only exception I can think of are gloves for the keeper. Also, the third book especially state that they do not wear goggles.

In fact, the lack of protection seems to be one of the reasons why Quidditch is considered brutal and dangerous.

Edit: There is also a Pottermore article about the film uniform. --Rodolphus (talk) 07:08, November 1, 2015 (UTC)

Unless it is contradictory to the books, then any elements introduced in the films are considered canon as well.

I think the Gryffindor team used the water-repelling charm on their goggles rather than their faces, because using it on eyes would make them dry. --RogueOwner (talk) 03:17, April 29, 2019 (UTC)

The book espececially said that they used it on their faces.--Rodolphus (talk) 04:56, April 29, 2019 (UTC)
