Should it be mentioned that the International Quidditch pitches are all from video games? ShirleyALuna Lovegood with Spectrespecs(The Quibbler) 11:19, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

Clean up[]

This page is nothing more than pictures from video games with one or two sentences for the descriptions. I wonder if we even can get any more info, but it would be good to have a little more. I tried to clean it up so that the pictures are somewhat near the correct paragraphs, but as do not play the video games, I really have no knoledge here. Size of pitch[]

Can anyone tell me the actual size of the inner Circe of a quidditch pitch? Both Wikipedia and this site say 2 feet. Really??? That's a VERY SMALL inner circle. In fact, I'm fairly thin and my shoulders are wider than 2 feet.

A soccer pitch has an inner circle of 10 yards, and it's field is less than 400 feet. This is also for people traveling on feet. My guess would be for the circle to be closer to 50 feet. Thoughts? {{Unsigned|74.132.253.246}

Also, how deep are the keeper zones?

Sorry, but if we had canon information for any of that, it would already be on the page, I would think. ProfessorTofty (talk) 18:19, February 6, 2013 (UTC)

1994 Quidditch World Cup location[]

In the Harry Potter page it's written that the Forest of Dean were the location to the 422nd Quidditch World Cup, in 1994. Is that truth? If it is, we should insert this information in this page. Andre G. Dias (talk) 23:23, January 19, 2014 (Brazil)

Known Quidditch Pitches[]

For subsections Quidditch pitch#British and Irish Quidditch League pitches and Quidditch pitch#National pitches, can the following treatment be considered? The designs can always be further improved, but the gist of it is turning the content into tables. Why? Because it literally sums of the info; with two tables, it'd remove 14 subsection headers populating the TOC. Especially the British and Irish Quidditch League Pitches; each subsection doesn't even consist of one paragraph, but one sentence! And no, before trying to defend it with "editors can help expanding," the section is called "Known Quidditch Pitches," essentially a list of the said subject, it is not meant for being overly detailed, and the current content is more than sufficient, but as mentioned, can be further consolidated into one table.

And yes, I'm aware that with the use of a table, for International Pitches, the length it occupied is longer than the current, but similar treatment as seen at Diagon Alley#Known Locations, personally I find it more straightforward.

My opinion is just that, so feel free to tweak it even more, or provide what I may overlooked for reasons to not make any changes. Thanks! --Sammm✦✧(talk) 00:32, September 5, 2018 (UTC)

I've gone ahead and executed the first part for the British and Irish Quidditch League pitches, though I've made minor changes from the following table, for I double-checked and apparently "stadia" is the correct plural for "stadium" (even though my browser has the red indication of it being misspelled and that "stadiums" is far more commonly used by English speakers.) I went with it also because there's a section titled "Quidditch World Cup Final Stadia" within the same article; figured I should keep it cohesive.
Not sure though, since there's also Category:Quidditch stadiums. Either way, fixing what's in the table is easy; let me know if anyone think "stadiums" (as shown below) is more suitable than "stadia" (as currently displayed in the article.) --Sammm✦✧(talk) 19:10, September 20, 2018 (UTC)
It's been over two months, went proceeding the proposed changes with minor alterations. --Sammm✦✧(talk) 08:00, November 29, 2018 (UTC)
