I am wondering... Is it not possible that Crookshanks may be the Potters' cat and that he would have escaped after Voldemort's attack? He is very friendly with Harry...

- That is highly unlikely. And if something like that were true, there would have been blatant clues in the text. Thanks, --JKoch(Owl Me!) 16:27, December 2, 2010 (UTC)
Crookshanks is a kneazle-cat. In this letter is only spoken from a cat. So I think - No. Harry granger 18:51, July 10, 2011 (UTC)
Potter's Cat[]
I think the cat escaped and is still alive.
Even if the cat escaped, I doubt it would live for 16 long years. I am the God of Pokemon!!!!!! 14:33, September 10, 2011 (UTC)
Voldemort's Encounter with the Potter Family Cat[]
This doesn't relate to canon at all, but it sure made me laugh. I was reading a fanfiction titled "Reasons to Kill Harry Potter By Lord V", and Voldemort mentions how he tripped over the Potters' cat on his way to kill Lily and James, and so now he has a bad knee. Not canon, but could this be true? Ahahaha, that'd be very funny. AlastorMoody 07:19, July 29, 2011 (UTC)
