To ne, this is clearly a portrayal of the situation with Hagrid and Dudley in PS, and should be merged with human to pig. Does anyone agree?Rodolphus 14:13, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Human to Pig and this spell might have completely different incantations and effects (Human to Pig might go the whole way). Also, it is quite possible that Hagrid meant to turn him into a pig but used the wrong spell (this one), causing unforeseen effects. Until we know for sure, we shouldn't make assumptions IMO and hence the pages should stay separate, Green Zubat 17:05, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
So this is telling me...there's a spell that's fully and dedicated to Dudley Dursley which turns him into a pig.
How do they even know about Dudley?
- I have to agree, I don't think this can reasonably be considered canon. No other spells are named like this. Somebody slipped up here and got a bit creative with the naming. The trading card game is canon if nothing else in the series contradicts the information, but I don't think we should abandon precedent in lieu of a lack of other name for the spell than "Human to pig." Wouldn't it be better if we rename this "Pigtail spell" instead of its current name? It just seems odd having Dudley's name in the title. -- PerryPeverell 09:11, February 20, 2013 (UTC)
