Hey, I'm confused about the date of Peter's victims, and I'm not sure if it's a wikia error or a date inconsistency by JK Rowling. So the Potter's died on Oct 31, but there's that whole gap where there's an entire day that passes afterwards before Harry is brought to the Dursley's, which would have been Nov 1, that night (the book says almost midnight) Hagrid pulls up on Sirius' bike with Harry and when he leaves he says he's bringing the bike back to Sirius, now where Hagrid was traveling with Harry all day I could see him not knowing about a street being blown up and 12 muggles plus the supposed murder of Peter, but you would think Dumbledore would have heard, news always seems to travel pretty fast in the wizarding world, if anything I would venture to guess that those murders took place on the 2nd, Peter would have been trying awfully hard to hide, not knowing for sure who the Potter's might have told he was the secret keeper and from LV's other followers so it makes sense that Sirius wouldn't have found him immediately after lending his bike to Hagrid. I know JK has said she isn't good with math/dates, so I wasn't sure what the case was here. Does anyone know? --BachLynn23 13:01, September 11, 2010 (UTC)

hahahahahahaha in lego looool but no they do not exist

It took me a minute or two to understand. So to summarise, the Potters died on 31st, then Harry goes to the Dursleys on the 1st and Hagrid says he's giving Sirius back his bike. So... for him not to know, either A they died on the 1st and Hagrid didn't know. Or B they died on the 2nd. I agree, I think it's the 2nd. Does anyone know for sure though? --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 01:00, March 28, 2013 (UTC)
