J k R only said that Crookshanks is a half-Kneazle and that Mrs. Figg breeds half-Kneazles. Have we got a proof that is one, too?

i thought she would have to be and anamagius if she shows up on the marauders map. i don't think it is ever mentioned to see animals on the map but it saw peter pettigrew as "scabbers".

JKR has confirmed that she isn´t, but she´s highly intelligent and could easily inform Filch about the marauders´activities. It´s speculative, but this may be the cause for her being on the map.--Rodolphus 13:53, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
