Rename

Should this be renamed "Middle Courtyard"? After all, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is more recent than the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince video game. -- Seth Cooper owl post! 00:05, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

Done. I think these names (The Quad, Middle Courtyard) are better since the filmakers (the people who created the courtyards) worked in the Theme Park and helped building the castle. However, the Transfiguration Courtyard name is given by the video game makers, who named it based on the location of the Transfiguration classroom.--El Profeta Vespertino 16:54, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a second-level canon tier. The games are third-level. Besides it was released after the games. In my opinion, I don't think that this and the Paved Courtyard should have been renamed as they don't actually appear at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and that layout of Hogwarts isn't actually very acurate and all the areas of the catle are mixed up anyway. Whether the areas physically appear on the park or not is irrelevant; they appear, after all, on the tapestry. The accuracy of the castle's layout is irrelevant to this matter too, as it doesn't compromise the canonicity of the labels. -- Seth Cooper owl post! 16:31, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

Which Courtyard?

I found this in the and it's labelled as Transfiguration courtyard. But I NEVER see this courtyard in the films. Could it be another courtyard?

Looks like the courtyard that Harry is seen walking in with Hedwig during a snowy period of the first film. It had a dried-out fountain in the middle. --DCLM (talk) 14:31, May 28, 2013 (UTC)
