:Actually, reaction towards Gambon's portrayal could be included if they are properly sourced to a reputable site or person (critics, high profile film sites or agencies, news agencies etc), not fansites or forums. They should be presented in a neutral format, with no bias either way as to Gambon's performance, simply stating that these views are out there. Ideally, there should be a counterpoint with support for Gambon's portrayal, again properly sourced. I agree that removal of the information at the present time is probably the best course as it is subjective and without verification, but - if readded in the future with proper neutrality and sources - I see no reason not to keep it. - <span style="color:black">Cavalier One</span>(<span style="color:red">Wizarding Wireless Network</span>) 11:22, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

"Despite having deliberately mislead an interviewer (something Gambon enjoys doing often, to mix things up a bit), he HAS read the books, as evidenced in the Prisoner of Azkaban interviews. Similarly, he has also mislead another interviewer to believe that, when playing Dumbledore, he doesn't "have to play anyone really. I just stick on a beard and play me, so it's no great feat. I never ease into a role – every part I play is just a variant of my own personality. I’m not really a character actor at all..." "

I think that's very, very wrong. Gambon has always stated that he didn't read the books, just saw the first two films. Also, he always stated that he just plays himself. That's no misleading, it's actually his true words. And yes, in the POA interviews he says this. That's why his portrayal of Dumbledore is very different than Harris', and the Dumbledore character itself (in the books, Dumbledore is calmed. Gambon is not when he acts as Dumbledore). So, ladies and gentleman, if you don't answer, I'll erase it. Btw, the word "HAS" in capital letters, is not necesary at all. --Dr. James <font size="1">(4 8 15 16 23 42)</font> 05:37, September 27, 2009 (UTC)

Introduction

The introduction is very subjective and needs to be changed. It's about how bad Gambon plays the part and since it lacks any sources I'll just delete some of it. 194.78.37.122 11:02, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Agreed, weather or not people liked him is a matter of opinion, the article should be neatural. Jayden Matthews 11:05, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
