Birth date?[]

Where does it come from?--Rodolphus 12:37, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Volant[]

  • I put in the text "' (volant is French for "flying")" because that may have been the inspiration for Marge floating up to the ceiling. AnthonyAppleyard 16:34, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Family error[]

In Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban, she is stated as a close family friend, which is refered to as Aunt, not that the Potters/Dursleys are related.TDM : Always here to help but only one thing : Call me Data 17:06, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

She?s stated to be Vernon's sister, which is the reason why she isn´t Harry's aunt.--Rodolphus 17:09, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Page 19 of the British book "Aunt Marge was Uncle Vernon's sister. Even though she was not a blood relative of Harry's (whose mother had been Aunt Petunia's sister), he had been forced to call her 'Aunt' all his life." She isn't a blood relative of Harry's, but she is Uncle Vernon. --BachLynnGryffindorcrest(Accio!) 17:10, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Hair[]

Where is the source for Marge's blonde hair? I re-read the entire chapter cited, and no mention of Marge having blonde hair, just Dudley. Next step in canon would be the grey hair illustrated in Pottermore, so if there's no source in a week I'll just add that. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 22:50, July 1, 2013 (UTC)

I just had a look over the text as well and I certainly don't see anything about her having blonde hair either. I'd say go ahead and change it now, if you like. If Pottermore' shows grey as the hair colour, we should use that. ProfessorTofty (talk) 22:57, July 1, 2013 (UTC)

Don't you dare![]

Why did Aunt Marge say don't you dare to Uncle Vernon? What exactly was he trying to do? C.Syde (talk | contribs) 22:44, May 17, 2014 (UTC)

That was only in the films. According to this script, she is warning him not to let go, but he does anyways. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 22:55, May 17, 2014 (UTC)

I should have mentioned 'in the films'. I actually thought she didn't want him to go with her. Well at least I understand now. C.Syde (talk | contribs) 23:07, May 17, 2014 (UTC)

Harry blowing up Marge[]

Even though Aunt Marge didn’t exactly know that Harry was causing her to blow up, did she suspect it. Cuz it happened right when he was angry with her and I’m sure she would blame something like that on him? What do ya’ll think? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Danpurrington (talkcontribs) 03:01, 20 March 2023‎ (UTC).

if for a moment she did, it doesn't matter anymore, she was obliviated and doesn't remember the incident.  Silver  Discusión  03:07, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
Yeah she doesn’t remember being blown up but she probably still remembers arguing with Harry before it happened. They probably just altered her memory of what happened during her argument with Harry. Don’t you think? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Danpurrington (talkcontribs) 15:05, 20 March 2013 (UTC.
Marge's memory was modified to make her forget about the incident. I see no need to discuss this any further. RedWizard98 (talk) 17:33, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
Yes she did forget about the incident but that was only about being blown up. Arguing with Harry was not being blown up. I’m sure she still remembers everything else that happened that day. Danpurrington (talk) 17:38, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
Why did they modify Marge’s memory to make her forget about the incident. She should have remembered that as it would teach her not to treat Harry so badly.
