This should just say Luna Lovegood, correct? From the World Cup recap, it appears that she did not change her name upon marriage.
Are they refered to as Lorcan and Lysander Scamander in canon? As far as I know, they are only refered to by their first names. Luna is refered to as Luna Lovegood during the 2014 QWC, supporting she did not change her family name like Hermione. They may as well be named Lorcan and Lysander Lovegood, Lorcan and Lysander Lovegood-Scamander...,--Rodolphus (talk) 09:21, June 1, 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks to User:Seth_Cooper paying attention in Divinations and seeing the redesign of Pottermore coming, we have transcript of the QWC2014 material - DUMBLEDORE'S ARMY REUNITES AT QUIDDITCH WORLD CUP FINAL. However their names aren't given there. AFAIK, there only mention in canon is from the 2007 special JK Rowling: A Year in the Life Lorcan and Lysander are at ~32m20s where JKR has written out a chart for Luna, Rolf and their sons. It is never shown if they have Scamander or Lovegood or something else for a last name. (We have a pic for that chart) Probably be best to add some refs to these names so it's clear where they came from. --Ironyak1 (talk) 13:22, June 1, 2016 (UTC)
- As this fits in with the discussion on article naming I would prefer to hold off until the new policy is figured out and these article are addressed there instead of just tackling these on their own. Hopefully Starstuff will check-in and we can pin the naming policy down given all the new examples to consider. Also, there is a fair chance the Luna or the twins will be in CC so that might provide an answer in the next few days. --Ironyak1 (talk) 14:06, June 1, 2016 (UTC)
