J.K. Rowling herself said that Dumbledore is defenetly dead... but think it. If Lily Potter's sacrifice gave harry a powerfull protection. Imagine the magical protection Dumbledore's death must have caused taking into note that dumbledore hid Harry when draco entered making that a sacrifice.
Well, it depends on certain things and how one defines death. Fawkes has died, but he was reborn. Perhaps Dumbledore is an animagus who can turn into a Phoniex? Just a thought. (unregistered by the way on the Animagus list like James, Siruis, and Peter.) Again Just a thought.
J. K. Rowling has to say he's dead. He very may well be, but think about it: an author of one of the best-selling series of our time only has one book left. She can't spoil ANY surprises at all. So maybe she is forced to say he is dead?

This is not my opinion. In the seventh book harry goes to "Kings Cross Station" and meets Dumbledore. It's not really Kings Cross station though.
