==Kitchens== Do they have to walk to the kitchens, and then I mean the Hufflepuffs?--Station7 21:20, January 31, 2010 (UTC) As far as I know, it has only ever said that the Hufflepuff common room is "near" the kitchen, nothing about having to actually go to the kitchen to get to it. --BachLynn23 16:39, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

I think there's some confusion about getting to the Hufflepuff common room. The kitchen is behind a still-life painting of fruit. Not the Puff common room. The common room can still be nearby and be accessed through a barrel. There's no inconsistency about what Rowling has said. Enchantedsleeper 17:20, May 2, 2012 (UTC)enchantedsleeper

Location[]

In Pottermor says that trought the windows you can see the grass, so Does it means that the Basement is under the Training Grounds or under the Tranfiguration courtyar? The basement cannot be after the covered bridge and there is only two places with grassLestrange97 13:49, August 26, 2011 (UTC)

I'd say it's pretty much impossible to tell, given how much the canocial Hogwarts differs from the film version. Jayden Matthews 14:36, August 26, 2011 (UTC)

But, is we are talking about the location on th films, where would you say that is the common room, Middle courtyard or Trainings Grounds?Lestrange97 14:39, August 26, 2011 (UTC)

Surely since Pottermore has nothing to do with the films, it doesn't need to be consistent with the film canon? The films were made without knowledge of where the Hufflepuff common room was located, so they won't have taken it into account. Enchantedsleeper 17:22, May 2, 2012 (UTC)enchantedsleeper

Guards[]

Permanent residents:

What are the Hufflepuff guards? Hufflepuff has no one protecting the entrance. It's protected by a pile of barrels.

And were suits of armour ever described to be ib the room?--Rodolphus (talk) 14:02, July 16, 2015 (UTC)
