I am not completely positive, but wasn't the Board of Governors also mentioned in the Half-Blood Prince novel. I believe McGonagall, while discussing with the other Heads of House, mentioned something about whether Hogwarts would reopen and if the governors would allow it. I am pretty sure they were mentioned, but I am not exactly sure what she said. 16:40, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

Known / Unknown members

I can see both sides of this argument, but I think it boils down to whether listing that information is really of any use to our readers. As far as known / unknown, we know of their existence, even if we don't know anything else about them, other than in one case approximately when he or she started. If we had articles about these other governors, then it would make sense to list them in order to link them. But without such articles, I don't necessarily think that it's needed to have them there. The main portion of the article clearly states that at any given time, there are twelve governors, so I think that itself is sufficient to indicate the existence of those other governors without listing them explicitly. What about mentioning them in the Behind the scenes-section? --DCLM (talk) 19:25, June 18, 2013 (UTC)
I just don't see any point because, again, their existence is implicit from what's already been said in the article. ProfessorTofty (talk) 19:52, June 18, 2013 (UTC)
