I wonder if "Herbology greenhouses" or "Hogwarts greenhouses" would be a better title for this article -Smonocco 21:29, 19 April 2009 (UTC) Well ive just moved. Hope people don't mid -Smonocco 15:57, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

I think "Hogwarts greenhouses" would work better as a title. The greenhouses at Hogwarts probably aren't the only ones in the world that are used for reasons related to herbology. Starstuff (Owl me!) 08:35, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

Permanent residents

Should the Herbology teachers be consiedered as permanent residents? -Smonocco 12:02, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

No. The Herbology teachers don't live in the greenhouses. They stay in their staff quarters, and, when school is out for summer, in their private homes (if "Spinner's End" in HBP is any indication). We know that Neville lives above the Leaky Cauldron with Hannah. Starstuff (Owl me!) 23:25, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

To me, when looking on conceptual artwork and the films, it looks like there are 10 greenhouses. Have you missed something or is some of them connected.

Here's a picture of the artwork:

Hogwarts greenhouses (view from top - Concept Artwork for HP2 movie 01)

I can count 10: 6 greenhouses on the left side, three greenhouses on the right side (one of them being shorter), and the tower-like greenhouse in the middle (yes, that is a greenhouse) 18:33, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
