As far as I read Pottermore there is no information about Harry beeing a hatstall. (It was said in the article that the two closest to beeing a hatstall in Harrys year were Hermione and Neville. Harry himself isn't mentioned.)

Furthermore I doubt that he is a hatstall. We can read his sorting in philosophers stone - and it doesn't seem to last over five minutes. Maybe one to three but more than five? I don't think so... 20:54, September 3, 2011 (UTC)

It was apparently revealed during a Pottermore preview at LeakyCon 2011 that Harry was a Hatstall. Starstuff (Owl me!) 01:11, September 4, 2011 (UTC)
As you say - it's was a preview. I wasn't at LeakyCon, so I have to rely on the source you posted. The text in your link looks like there were shown pictures of Pottermore - the same pictures we later saw when the beta was opened. Thus the informations given in the text seem to be an interpretation of the pictures seen at the con, not as fact stated by Rowling herself. Dyntia 00:16, January 15, 2012 (UTC)

Is it sure that he is a hatstall? Rowling didn´t say it took five minutes to sort him. To me, it swems to be common that the Hat waves between two houses. Hatstalls are just the students the Hat takes five minutes to sort. --Rodolphus (talk) 20:39, January 25, 2014 (UTC)

As we know that Harry is not a Hatstall, shouldn´t we replace the image with one of McGonagall or Pettigrew, who are confirmed as true Hatstalls?--Rodolphus (talk) 14:05, May 4, 2016 (UTC)

Agreed - perhaps something that shows McGonagall and the sorting hat together like File:Harry-Potter-sorting-hat.jpg or McGonagall & Hat? (I can pull new screenshots and format as needed) --Ironyak1 (talk) 16:24, May 4, 2016 (UTC)

MacGonagall and the Hat is excactly what I thought. --Rodolphus (talk) 18:01, May 4, 2016 (UTC)
