The article says that the use of the Stone Theme in Chamber of Secrets is considered thematically incorrect because William Ross adapted the themes--I don't think this is an accurate statement, as it has generally been said that Williams quite strictly guided Ross in adapting the themes, telling him exactly how to use them.
I think that the Stone Theme should be changed to a General Mystery Theme, and the line about Ross taken out completely.
