Since this is a page for a book, should the photos on it be limited to only book related ones (covers, chapter headings, that sort of thing)? Eleanor Rigby | talk | contribs13:46, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
Should Myrtle's death really be included in the Deaths section? She didn't die in the book, after all. It's just that the trio figured it out in 1992. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Quidditch Lover (talk • contribs).
I agree, it should be removed from the Deaths section. --User:Conaboy2
I think it puts in both deaths mentioned and seen. Michaellong80 22:09, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
Should it be included in the "Behind the Scenes" section that this is the first novel to mention the timeline of the series? During the Deathday Party, it is established that the year is 1992. Specific years aren't mentioned again in the series until the final book, so I thought this was an interesting fact. Anyone agree?Gerokeymaster 05:08, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
U.S. vs. UK edition back cover
I'd like to add the book description but I only have the US version of CoS (which is frustrating, since I have UK editions for the last four). So, what I want to know is are the descriptions on the back the same? The one on the back of the US edition starts "Ever since Harry Potter had come home for the summer, the Dursleys had been so mean and hideous that all Harry wanted was to get back to the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry..." I've been look on Amazon and a few other sites for scans of the UK back cover, but I'm not coming up with anything. Anyone else know? --Emmy (★) 23:11, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
After reading this I took a look at the book. This is what it says for the ninth paragraph on page 157:
"Yeah, he's nipping off to the Chamber of Secrets for a cup of tea with his fanged servant" said George, chortling
All paragraphs around it have "Percy" and nowhere does it say "Perry" Lilninjabro6 21:16, May 3, 2011 (UTC)
This error may have been in earlier editions of the book, like the '1 wand' coming up twice in the first book - StainlessX 18:28, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
Right after Harry rescues Ginny, she claims that she had been looking forward to coming to Hogwarts since Bill came. Bill entered Hogwarts in 1982, when Ginny would have just turned 1 which means she really wouldn't have had a clue as to what was going on. Is this big enough to be considered error? I suppose she could have meant since she first remembers Bill leaving for Hogwarts. Ptfreak 21:11, July 8, 2011 (UTC)
