British?[]

Are we sure that he was british? His name suggests that he was from a nordic country or of nordic descent. I thought he was just working internationally.--Rodolphus (talk) 19:09, November 24, 2018 (UTC)

I think similar situations have been happening to basically any individual who was confirmed to have a job in Great Britain; I'm not saying it happens to all articles, but I have noticed a lot of British MOM employees have British as their nationality with no source; similarly, I believe I've seen at least one case of nationality being "French", likely because said individual worked in the French MOM. Can British citizens shed some light on the matter? Does one have to be a British citizen in order to work in the country? --Sammm✦✧(talk) 20:36, March 29, 2019 (UTC)
I agree with Rodolphus that we cannot infer his nationality - I've been checking the character reveals from before the film's release, but haven't found anything calling him a "British" beast-hunter, or such. --Ironyak1 (talk) 20:40, March 29, 2019 (UTC)

Follower of Grindelwald?[]

I agree that he allied himself with Grindelwald in Paris, but does anyone have the movie to verify if he worked with Grindelwald prior to that? To me, it looked like he went to Paris to do a job for the Ministry of Magic in London, and then was recruited by Grindelwald while he was there for that job? Tfoc (talk) 21:45, May 16, 2020 (UTC)

Death status[]

I cannot find in my copy of The Archive of Magic: The Film Wizardry of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald the exact place where states Grimmson was murdered by the hands of Grindelwald. Is there anyone who knows it? --LeFences Owlery 20:39, 29 May 2022 (UTC)

If that book said that Grindelwald killed Grimmson, it was obviously retconned, as Gunnar Grimmson has a cameo appearance in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. WeaseleyIsOurKing89 (talk) 09:00, 21 August 2022 (UTC)

That is not Grimmson. -  MrSiriusBlack  Talk  11:11, 21 August 2022 (UTC)

Ignoring for a moment that the above image clearly feature Ingvar Eggert Sigurðsson in a near-identical costume to the one he wears in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, you base that conclusion on what exactly? WeaseleyIsOurKing89 (talk) 21:15, 21 August 2022 (UTC)

Ignoring for a moment that the above image does not clearly feature Ingvar Eggert Sigurðsson (I really don't think it looks like him) and that there are several people in the film dressed like that, so the similarity of the costume is completely moot, there are absolutely no websites that credit Sigurðsson with being in the film. -  MrSiriusBlack  Talk  22:23, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
