In the description, it;s stated that the tale, "Brumble the Grubby Goat" was written by Beedle the Bard. This is not clear from the notations of Albus Dumbledore in the latest edition of the book. According to DH, Hermione Granger inherited an original edition of Tales from Albus Dumbledore. The currebt edition is noted to be a new translation "from the Ancient Runes," and "Grumble the Grubby Goat" is not included in the book.

This suggests that "Grumble" is not a tale written by Beedle the Bard. Muggle fairy tales come from different authors; the same may be the case in the wizarding world.

Can you tell me the story exact words??

In The Tales of Beedle the Bard this is a story and in The Tales of Beedle the Bard (real) it is only mentioned. But can.you tell me the story, with the words used in the story. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 109.57.102.78 (talkcontribs).

It really doesn't seem likely to be a Beedle the Bard story, and articles/navboxes referring to it as such should be changed.
The only two references are as follow, from the "Albus Dumbledore on 'The Tale of the Three Brothers'" section of The Tales of Beedle the Bard:
"This story made a profound impression on me as a boy. I heard it first from my mother, and it soon became the tale I requested more often than any other at bedtime. This frequently led to arguments with my younger brother, Aberforth, whose favourite story was 'Grumble the Grubby Goat'." (p. 94)
"What must strike any intelligent witch or wizard on studying the so-called history of the Elder Wand is that every man who claims to have owned it9 has insisted that it is 'unbeatable', when the known facts of its passage through many owners' hands demonstrate that not only has it been beaten hundreds of times, but that it also attracts trouble as Grumble the Grubby Goat attracted flies.
"9 No witch has ever claimed to own the Elder Wand. Make of that what you will." (p. 104)
And no text of the story has yet been written. --xensyriaT 20:53, May 11, 2012 (UTC)
