Pottermore Would you call the picture of the staircases in chapter 8 of Philosopher's Stone on Pottermore an appearance? Or do you even think that its the Grand Staircase. Its not the Marble Staircase because that only goes to the first floor from the Entrance Hall, and its seen in chapter 7. The Grand Staircase was never mentioned in the books.
