King David is referred to by name in a canon source (the prop version of The Book of Common Prayer), albeit only as the (supposed) author of the Book of Psalms. I was going to make a seperate page for David, but it would seem to be to be more conjectural to have a page on both King David and "Goliath's slayer" when common sense says they are the same person.

Anyway, what I'm asking is whether the fact that David is mentioned in canon, albeit in a way unconnected to Goliath, is enough grounds to rename this page, and thus avoid ridiculousness. -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 01:21, August 31, 2013 (UTC)

Why would it change from Biblical Fact in the Harry Potter universe? Biblical Fact states that David slayed Goliath, so that should be who did it in the Potterverse
