When does it appear in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince game? Secret agent clank 14:31, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
- I know it's not in the Wii version. Maybe the DS or PSP? I've added the {{Fact}} tag, so if it's not verified in a week, it'll be removed. - Nick O'Demus 14:42, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Are all the console games usually the same (would the PS2 game be like the WII)? I have halfblood for the ps2, but don't really feel like playing through it if they are the same, I don't recall seeing it in the ps2 version, then again it has been like 6 months since I played it. --BachLynn(Accio!) 14:44, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
- From what I've seen, the consoles are often the same. It's usually the GameBoy versions (GBC, GBA, & DS) that are the most different. Not sure about the PSP, though. - Nick O'Demus 14:50, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, it's certainly not the PS2 version, because I have that version and it's not in there. Secret agent clank 08:12, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
I'm wondering if this was mistaken for Petrificus Totalus, which "freezes" the opponent and IS in the game. - Nick O'Demus 09:06, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
- Could be. If not it is in the GBA, GBC or the DS version, because, like you said, they are the most different. Secret agent clank 15:40, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

The hand movement exists in the PC game, so an image ought to be added. Oerk (talk) 00:54, February 24, 2019 (UTC)
"Freezing Spell"[]
Does anyone have an official source for this being officially called the 'Freezing Spell'? From what I've gleaned (from flicking through youtube videos of Hogwarts Mystery, as I don't play it), it is just called 'Glacius' in the game. - MrSiriusBlack Talk 14:33, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- I don't find that it was ever officially labelled that. It's a side quest, and characters don't speak about it in a story. They go to the duelling club, and win duels to earn a new spell in the "Glacius SQ". In the Lessons section, it just says "Glacius". - Kates39 (talk) 14:49, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- Well, did some digging on the ol' youtube. Here, the Prisoner of Azkaban game (not sure of what console)'s subtitles refer to it as the 'Glacius Spell', though I don't know how well we can trust just those subtitles, especially since earlier in that same video Remus simply calls it 'Glacius'; here, the PC version of the POA game, Flitwick refers to it simply as 'Glacius', while also referring to it as 'a freezing charm'. In LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4, it is simply referred to as 'Glacius', though I don't know about Years 5-7. Thoughts? - MrSiriusBlack Talk 15:11, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- I think we have to trust the subtitles. It could be "Glacius Spell", and be "Glacius" for short. I couldn't find a video for Years 5-7, but every guide I have found for it just say "Glacius". Flitwick saying "a freezing charm" was in lower case, so that has to be a description and not an official title. Since we haven't found a source yet that says "Freezing Spell", I think the name needs to be changed to "Glacius Spell" or "Glacius", but I don't see why it can't be labelled both in the article. - Kates39 (talk) 17:46, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
- Well, if there are no objections, I'll rename this page to 'Glacius' soon. - MrSiriusBlack Talk 21:42, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
