Salt water?

I don't recall it ever being specifically said before that the Black Lake is salt water. Does the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban video game imply that it is, then? ProfessorTofty (talk) 03:18, July 10, 2013 (UTC)

No, that's my fault again. I thought lakes were all salt water and oceans fresh water ... I presume that's incorrect, then? If so, it should be removed. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 03:58, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
I would say that the Black Lake is fresh water, since the loch used to portray it is fresh water. --DCLM (talk) 12:00, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
The opposite is actually true in regards to lakes to oceans in general. All oceans are salt water, but most lakes are fresh water, with only rare exceptions. ProfessorTofty (talk) 22:27, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
So... Who's right? I would say it is fresh water, again, since the portrayer is fresh water. But, I'll leave it to you, who is right? --DCLM (talk) 22:54, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
Well, seeing as the description "salt water" was only posted anyway based on a mistaken assumption, I think we can safely go with fresh water unless we have specific evidence otherwise. ProfessorTofty (talk) 23:05, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
