Where did their dates of deaths being after 1 September 2017 come from? I thought the book stated that they would die not long the Philosopher's Stone was destroyed in 1992, and that they had just enough elixir left to get things in order. It is highly unlikely they lived another 27 years! -- Kates39 (talk) 22:34, February 13, 2017 (UTC)

This appears to be a misunderstanding of this JKR tweet interpreting that "not in the books" means "after the books" instead of it just not being written in the books. She did however say on her website before HBP that Nicolas was dead, so the previous estimate was 1992 - 1996 which make far more sense IMO. --Ironyak1 (talk) 23:29, February 13, 2017 (UTC)
Oh I see. I will start correcting the relevant pages. -- Kates39 (talk) 23:38, February 13, 2017 (UTC)
To me it still reads as he doesn't die in the books -- i.e. the books end in 2017 and he's not dead. --HarryPotterRules1 (talk) 00:49, February 14, 2017 (UTC)
