It may be a far-stetch, but is it possible to determinate that Euan was a muggle-born?

• He was very terrified when he was Sorted.
• He only distrusted Harry after a boy told him that he (Harry) was crazy,implying he had not read the Daily Prophet.

Sure, he might be muggle born. Or, he might be a pureblood who was raised by muggles, or a pureblood who was terrified at being sorted just like literally every other first year is and who either never saw a picture of Harry, or just didn't recognize him at first, or about a million other things.
