Name and Birthdate

Where did her name and birthdate come from as there is no reference to show it. Should it be removed?HarryPotterRules1 03:38, March 19, 2012 (UTC)

How do we know that Dudley even had a Wife? 121.216.137.39 09:23, June 11, 2012 (UTC)

Dudley's wife was mentioned inderectly on J.K. Rowling's official site. Joe.Blanchard4 02:08, June 14, 2012 (UTC) June 13,2012 (UTC)

Muggle

How come Dudley's children are noted as Muggles but nowhere on this page does it say that Mrs. Dursley (Dudley's wife) is a Muggle? I'm sure that if one is a Muggle their parents should be Muggles as well.-- RLB01 (talk) 08:37, July 1, 2012 (UTC)

She could also be a Squib. Rowling did not tell us.  Harry granger   Talk   contribs 17:01, July 6, 2013 (UTC)

Family

I'm not quite sure where or when the topic was discussed, but I would like to contest the recent decision to include extremely distant relations as "aunt-in-law", "first cousin-in-law by marriage" and "maternal first cousin-once removed-in-law". All three, quite apart from being such long-named relations that they take up three infobox lines by themselves, are very far-off in terms of relation. In my opinion, only such close relations as biological aunts/uncles/first cousins/siblings/parents, spouse, children and parents-in-law should be included in the infobox (with appropriate links of course), as well as a link to the family page, in which all relations can be named and linked.

Quite apart from providing what is in my opinion excessive detail in one place (in smaller writing than usual, I might add, given the font size of the infobox writing), this lengthy list of relatives expands the infobox to become twice the length of the article! --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 22:56, June 15, 2014 (UTC)

Nothing was discussed, policy didn't change: "the family in a character's infobox is limited to two generations in either direction". Which is why those relations were, again, removed. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 00:20, June 16, 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for clarifying; now I'm curious about where "No response in over a fortnight that's being patient." came from. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 00:26, June 16, 2014 (UTC)
The "No response..." is Jdogno's. MinorStoop 08:05, July 23, 2014 (UTC)
