Differentiation between the Class and the Branch of Magic
Personally, I think there should be one article about Divination (class), and another about Divination (branch of magic), to differentiate between the two. While many centaurs and certainly some wizards practice divination, they aren't practicing the class, they are practicing the branch of magic. Hufflepuff Half-Giant 11:44, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Possibly known owls?
The heading says KNOWN owls, but next to Lavender Brown and Luna Lovegood it says (possibly). This doesn't make sense. I will take them off the list. Calypsoqueen 17:08, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
When Harry and Ron begin making up predictions in their Divination homework in Goblet of Fire, they *happen* to predict, exactly, the dangers that await Harry in the Triwizard tournament: first that he will be "in danger of burns" (the first trial of overcoming a dragon); next that he will "lose a treasured possession" (Ron, his best friend, whom he will have to recover from the merpeople); then get "stabbed in the back by someone you thought was a friend" (his D.A.D.A. professor); and finally "come off worse in a fight" (clearly, his duel with Lord Voldemort in the Riddle graveyard). Funny how when they try cooking up tragedies for themselves, they manage to fall short of the real thing... 188.8.131.52 07:19, November 22, 2009 (UTC)
- And don;t forget the bet they accidentally forecast Ludo losing. Good thing JK didn't let us hear what else they predicted or they might have given the whole plot away!Green Zubat 22:36, July 25, 2011 (UTC)
