Could you tell me where Diricawls are mentionned in HP7 please ? Thank you --Famini71 11:12, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't think they are. It looks like somebody mistook it for Demiguise, which Xenophilius Lovegood mentions when talking about Invisibilty Cloaks. I'll fix it now. - Nick O'Demus 12:35, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Thank you Nick. So "Diricawl feathers are used in many Invisibility Cloaks." is wrong too, isn't it ? Famini71 17:26, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

I do not know how to write in the information box, without removing the name.

Diricawl = Dodo?

I know this sound stupid, but is it really Diricawl (Dodo) can use apparation in order to escape its enemies? Plus, did they already classified Diricawl as endangered magical creature and thus created a specific habitat for Diricawls to thrive? I'm eager to know more of them.  --VenT-rexBrennenburg, 12:39, July 8 2013 (UTC)

The Diricawl, known by Muggles as the "dodo" can teleport to escape enemies and consequently Muggles believe they have hunted it to extinction (they don't know it can teleport). Not much more is known than that, but if you want to read for yourself, you could always try and find or buy a copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (real). --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 10:56, July 8, 2013 (UTC)
