*The Killing Curse (Avada Kadevra) cannot be blocked.
I don't agree with this new post under "Behind the scenes". When Voldemort in Order of the Phoenix used this curse to kill Harry Potter, Dumbledore used one of the figures of the Fountain of magical brethren to spring into this curse. The figure is made of metal. O. k., the head of the figure, which was hit from the curse, was then destroyed. But Harry was not hit from the curse. So I would say: Metal can block this curse. - Yeah, that was a weird edit, the curse can be blocked in two ways: obstructing its path with another object (what Dumbledore did with the Fountain of Magical Brethren) and Sacrificial protection. Changing - Green Zubat 19:22, August 8, 2011 (UTC).
Watch your facts! You forgot that any spell can be blocked if they collide! I love protesting :D
