Appearances[]

Wouldn't Crabbe have made an appearance during the fifth movie if he was one of the Death Eaters who participated in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries? Even though he may not have made a notable appearance, wouldn't he still have been among the croud of Death Eaters? Notdoppler 16:29, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

He may have appeared in the film, but i don't think we should add it to his appearances section unless we have a source confirming his appearance. -Smonocco 15:32, September 29, 2009 (UTC)
Good point, however, i notice that on the character Theodore Nott's article, it states under the Appearances section that Theodore must have made an appearance on the first movie, during the scene where Harry's year is sorted. Even though Theodore's appearance may not be much notable, the character would have been among the croud of first years, so it states. Notdoppler 16:41, September 29, 2009 (UTC)
Amd it´s stated on some other first year articles. It first appeared on the Pansy Parkunson article and some others and I copied it. We can remove it or add a (possibly).--Rodolphus 15:48, September 29, 2009 (UTC)
I agree that logically speaking characters in the crowd of first years in which got sorted in the first film, are considered to have made an appearance during that film. Therefore, characters in which are identified as having took part in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, should be noted to have made an appearance. Notdoppler 18:17, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
As there are no objections, I'll add the appearance to the articles. Notdoppler 19:16, October 16, 2009 (UTC)

Blood status[]

His son being a pure-blood doesn’t necessarily mean that Crabbe himself is one. He could be a half-blood (but without muggle and/or muggleborn parents). The same logic applies to both Goyle and Gregory Goyle's mother, who are currently listed as pure-blood, too. Тамми (talk) 00:28, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

If his son is a pure-blood, that would mean he is also a pure-blood. Being pure-blood means a wizard has no known Muggle ancestors, and if Crabbe was a half-blood, his son would be too, as that would mean he had a Muggle relative. RedWizard98 (talk) 00:56, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

That seems to go against the definition on Pure-blood page and its talk page (no muggle or muggle-born parents or grandparents), as well as the fact that Nott page lists him as “pure-blood or half-blood” in the exact same situation. Тамми (talk) 04:40, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
