The information offered in this article is incorrect. You're confusing the Congressional Gold Medal - a civilian honor - with the Medal of Honor, a military honor. As the Dalai Lama received the Gold Medal, and not the Medal of Honor, the title should be changed. Although, what this has to do with the Harry Potter universe, I'll never know. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SchutteGod (talkcontribs).

Apparently this info is taken from a newspaper mock-up from a limited edition of Half-Blood Prince. I have not seen the original source, but since the mock-up is dated July 5, 2007, they either really goofed on the date or it's a fake. I'd like some verification of this data. It comes from a newspaper prop used in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, a reproduction of which was included with Harry Potter Limited Edition. You can see a scan of this, here. As for the name, "Congressional Gold Medal of Honour" is how it's originally called in the prop (and indeed, it is ocasionally referred to like that in real-world press; see this) --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 21:10, October 18, 2015 (UTC)
