I beg to differ. Had you read the article, you would have seen that it is a place where the Dursleys and Harry stay while on the run from the Hogwarts letters. It is in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. -Matoro183 ^(Talk) 01:03, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

As the person who started this article, I can confirm its canon status. For full reference, it is mentioned in the address on the Hogwarts letters sent to the hotel while the Dursleys and Harry are trying to flee them. - Cavalier One^{(Wizarding Wireless Network)} 01:12, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Name

I don't think the fact that the town is referred to as "Mill Town" in the Half-Blood Prince script indicates that is the town's actual name. "Mill town" is a generic term for a town that developed around a factory, and there are many such towns in the UK, so Steve Kloves probably inserted this term into the script to give whoever built the set/selected the filming location a better idea of how the town should look.

I suggest we move this article to lowercase, as we know this town was a mill town, just not if that term was also its name. ★ Starstuff ^{(Owl me!)} 15:21, November 20, 2009 (UTC)
