Moody's Eye
If the cloak provides complete, unpenetrable protection, how come Moody's eye can see through it? I can think of only a few reasons. 1: he might have heard him, but why didn't Snape? 2: he could just tell. Haven't you ever known when someone's nearby? The third, and the most likely in my eyes: J.K. slipped up.
