Moody's Eye

If the cloak provides complete, unpenetrable protection, how come Moody's eye can see through it? I can think of only a few reasons. 1: he might have heard him, but why didn't Snape? 2: he could just tell. Haven't you ever known when someone's nearby? The third, and the most likely in my eyes: J.K. slipped up. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lorddarigarn (talkcontribs).

I always took it as, Moody was on a level of understanding beyond the cloak. Perhaps it DOES provide such impenetrable protection, but keep in mind Moody is an Auror, so he's probably got a way of knowing. Plus, you can't deny that his eye is beyond creepy. It seems to have some kind of all-seeing magic to it. This is all just my grasp on the concept, of course. --Malunis T 08:24, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

This page now has as complete a list of known uses in Chronological Order that I could add. If you have anymore, please feel free to add them to the list, but try to format what you say to match the others and place it in the right time. --Hcoknhoj 12:31, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

I've been thinking the same thing. It doesn't. So it should be removed. Gryffindor1991 04:51, October 16, 2011 (UTC)
