This is weird. If she was born on 1919, she would have been 10 or 11 when barty crouch sr. was born, so its unlikely that she is the mother of him. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SEATTLE♥WIZARD (talkcontribs) 22:37, 11 June 2009.

The 1930 birth year listed on the article Bartemius Crouch Sr. was unsourced, and, as such, I have removed it. If we assume that Charis is Barty Crouch Sr.'s mother, however, then she could have had him between 1939 to 1943, when when she would've been in her early twenties. This means Bartemius Sr. would've been in his early twenties also when his son Bartemius Jr. was born circa 1963. Of course, this is only speculation, but it establishes that it would technically be possible for Charis to be Bartemius Sr.'s mother. Starstuff (Owl me!) 23:21, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Charis bore two daughters. In the Goblet of Fire, one witch came to Bartemius when his son cast a spell for the Dark Mark. This is maybe his sister, because his wife died before.--Lord 11:18, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

I thought she was a ministry witch.--Rodolphus 12:06, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
Charis had two daughters and one son. This son could be Bartemius Sr.

Family, extended

It is established that Araminta Meliflua Black was a cousin of Walburga Black; either this is from Irma Crabbe, or she is a daughter of Caspar and Charis.

This led me to thinking: if one of Charis and Caspar's children were Elladora, what would her relation to Sirius be? Is it possible that the daughters of Charis and Caspar were given the Black name for their mother, and the boy the Crouch name for his father? Could the three children be Bartemius, Elladora and Araminta? I know this is unsourced and (essentially) fanon, but I was curious about the possibility. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 17:41, April 21, 2014 (UTC)
