Is it possible that it is a multi-room for the films and games? I mean, in the Philosopher's Stone film the entrance appears to be a shortcut to either the Dungeons or the Third Floor (used by Severus Snape when a mountain troll was loose) and in the Goblet of Fire book the entrance lead to this chamber and in Goblet of Fire film and Order of the Phoenix video game the entrance lead down to the Trophy Room. My personal guess is that if we were to set all in canon that behind the first entrance there is three doors; one leading to the shortcut, one to this chamber and one to the Trophy Room. Tell me what you think of this. -- 16:42, August 12, 2012 (UTC)

This chamber doesn't seem to exist in the films/video games, or at least that's the impression I am getting from the article. And this can't possibly lead to the Trophy Room, the books, which are the highest canon outside of JKR herself, place that on the third floor. -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 16:46, August 12, 2012 (UTC)
Yes, but for the fourth film the "Trophy Room" was dropped in behind the Great Hall, which, I presume, is the version people are referring to. {{SUBST:User:Jiskran/Signature}} 16:50, August 12, 2012 (UTC)
I meant that it could still be existing, just not seen in the films; the reason is that many halls exist that are not seen. But what about the shortcut Snape used in Philosopher's Stone film? -- 05:26, August 13, 2012 (UTC)
